Back-to-school time means a lot of different things around your house. Getting back into a good routine is probably one of the most important parts of getting into back-to-school mode and along with that comes packing a healthy lunch each day. Kids want a fun, tasty meal that doesn’t bring out a funny face when they open their lunch box. Parents want a meal that you can make quickly, but isn’t full of junk.
Here at Alon, we think Back to School time is one of the best times of the year. A new uniform or first day of school outfit, the perfect binder, a freshly sharpened pencil… what could be better? Going back to school might mean that the days of summer and lazy afternoons by the pool are over, but there’s so much to look forward to like new teachers, practicing again with the team and of course, weekends.
Summer is officially here and we know that this can be the busiest time of year for many families. Mother’s Day has come and gone, and our Mom of the Year photo contest has ended. So many grateful kids (and grown up kids) shared pics of their moms with us. Every pic was heart-warming and unique – some funny, some sweet, some new, some old. It was a very difficult task, but five winners were selected out of the bunch. Each winner will receive a shiny new iPad. Congrats to our winners!

It’s summer time – or as we like to call it, Road Trip Season. Yes, it’s that time of year when you can grab the fam, pack up the truck and set sail straight into the sunset. While you make your way across the Southwest this summer, don’t forget to stop into and visit the friendly faces at Alon. Whether you’re filling up on gas or fueling up on Slurpees, we’re proud to be your one-stop-shop along the way.
