There are doubters – you’ll always have them – but fall really is the best season because it’s an in-between season. Fall is between summer’s scorching heat and winter’s biting cold. You don’t have to put up with spring’s rain and wind either. If you’re still one of those doubters, here are 5 reasons why fall is the best season.

Cooler Weather

The weather is cooler, and you can dig out and wear those sweaters you love. Cooler weather also makes you feel like doing more, your appetite’s better, and, as a result food tastes better. No more triple-digit temperatures and humidity so high you can barely breath – you just have that lovely crisp weather that makes your cheeks rosy and your energy rise.

Pumpkin-Flavored Everything

Fall also brings on all those pumpkin flavored-foods and beverages you love: pumpkin butter, pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin spice lattes, and pumpkin cappuccinos. You can even get pumpkin pretzels now. Basically, fall is a pumpkin lover’s paradise.

In the fall, you also get back that hour of sleep they stole from you in the spring. Daylight savings time comes to an end, you set your clock back, and you get an extra hour’s sleep. We call all use a little extra sleep wherever we can grab it. In addition, you can get the kids asleep at bedtime because it will actually be dark outside now.
